Raman™ Technology: Raman for See Through Material Identification
B&W Tek’s new application note introduces our new Raman system design that expands the applicability of Raman. The STRaman™ see through technology provides the Raman system with a larger sampling area, increasing sampling depth and reducing power density, allowing for material identification through visually opaque containers. In this application note, a new Raman system design is presented that expands the applicability of Raman to See Through diffusely scattering media such as opaque packaging materials, as well as to measure the Raman spectrum and identify thermolabile, photolabile, or heterogeneous samples.
