cleanLASER offers laser beam cleaning technology for gentle and efficient surface treatment. A global leader in laser cleaning technology

The exhibition at BITEC on the 22-25 June 2016, was an ideal opportunity for Pondpol Analytical to officially launch cleanLASER in Thailand, although it is already in use here. A follow-up workshop was organized for a much attended audience.

As a relatively new product and associated applications, including marking, pretreatment and de-coating, not surprisingly, considerable interest was shown in its ability to clean a variety of molds, fast, safely and cost effectively.

The workshop following the exhibition, was held on the 27-28 June 2016, at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok and organized by the Laser and Optics Research Group (LANDOS)

The workshop following the exhibition, was held on the 27-28 June 2016, at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok and organized by the Laser and Optics Research Group (LANDOS). The meeting was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amarin Ratanavis, Head of LANDOS, whilst Prof.Dr.Pichet Limsuwan KMUTT, expanded on high power laser development in Thailand

Asst.Dr.Rachapak Chitaree MU, introduced a very important topic, that of Laser Safety

Invited guessed speaker from Germany, Mr.Sergej Retich of cleanLASER systems GmbH, soke an a wide range of laser surface treatment applications

Arguably the most interesting part of any workshop is the hands-on section. Here Mr.Sergej Retich of cleanLASER, assisted by K Phumipat of Pondpol, set up the laser system

Delegates were keen to see the cleanLASER in action and brought many samples of their own to see the remarkable effects on applications such as: paint stripping, rust removal and surface pre-treatment.

At the end of the workshop, a nice group closure photograph, showing several KMUTNB students and Pondpol staff
